The 60-color Languo acrylic marker set combines good coverage with sturdy, well-organized packaging: all 60 pens sit sorted in clearly separated compartments inside a multi-tray carry case, and the color range leans toward deep shades rather than pastel or macaron tones. Its main trade-off on paper is drying speed—because the ink dries quite fast, blending colors is hard. Here is what stood out in my use and unboxing Short, and where the set fits in my acrylic paint pen guide.
Coverage and fast-drying ink: good opacity, hard to blend
In my use, the Languo markers lay down good coverage. The trade-off comes when you try to work wet-on-wet: the ink dries quite fast, which makes blending hard.
In my unboxing Short above (Christmas Vibes With Languo Acrylic Marker), I opened the clear trays on my desk and painted a snowy Christmas tree against a deep blue-violet night sky on a small card taped to my sketchbook cover. For background on how ready-to-use direct-liquid brush markers differ from pump-valve paint pens in general, see the guide’s valve vs ready-to-use section; for how they differ from alcohol markers, see my acrylic vs alcohol markers comparison.
Deep colors rather than pastel or macaron tones
Across the 60 pens, the palette leans toward deep colors rather than soft pastel or macaron shades. That makes the set a natural fit when a piece calls for rich, saturated tones—like the deep night sky and dark evergreen branches in my Christmas painting—and less suited when you want pale pastels or macaron colors straight from the box.
Sturdy multi-tier case and sorted compartments
Packaging and organization are a strong point of this set. The clear plastic carry case is sturdy, with a white handle on the top lid and front latch clips, and the markers are sorted and divided into clearly separated compartments.
As shown in my photo above, the case fans open on my desk into five stepped clear trays, each holding 12 markers in
individual slots (six on the left and six on the right, 60 pens in total) so pens do not roll together while you paint.
The white barrels are printed with ACRYLIC PAINTER MARKER and capped with color-coded end plugs arranged by color
family: reds and pinks in the top tray; browns, neutrals, oranges and warm yellows across the middle trays; greens and
teals in the fourth tray; and blues and purples in the bottom tray.
Direct-liquid feed, brush tip and surfaces (maker specs)
Each marker has a single soft brush tip that Languo rates at 1 to 5 mm depending on the angle of your stroke. If you prefer a separate fine nib on the other end of the barrel, look at a dual-tip set like the Pagather 72.
According to Languo’s Amazon listing and product page (model M720-25), these markers use a cotton-free direct-liquid ink system with auto-flow control, which the maker states delivers three times the ink volume of traditional core markers without pressing a valve. The maker’s instructions are to shake before use and store the case horizontally.
I painted with mine on paper. In Languo’s words, the water-based pigment ink is odorless, waterproof and fade-proof once dry, and works on rock, wood, ceramic, fabric, glass, Easter eggs and Halloween pumpkins. For non-porous surfaces or pieces that will be handled, see the guide’s surface section and sealing notes.
Who it suits and alternatives
Choose the Languo 60 set if you want good coverage, a palette that leans toward deep colors, and a sturdy multi-tray case that keeps all 60 markers sorted into clearly separated compartments. Skip it if smooth blending is essential to how you paint—because the ink dries quite fast and makes blending hard—or if you are looking for soft pastel and macaron tones.
If you want the strongest coverage and smoothest blending in my kit along with a sweet pastel and macaron palette (with few deep shades), see my ENMY 60 review. If you want a budget 72-pen brush set that covered and blended well in my review with a pastel-to-deep range for landscapes—and you do not mind an undivided box—see my LET’S RESIN 72 review. For bright, vivid colors in separate pink trays where coverage and blending were only moderate for the price in my review, see my ARRTX 60 review, or compare all sets in my acrylic paint pen guide and POSCA alternatives guide.
What I liked

- Sturdy packaging with the 60 markers sorted into clearly separated compartments across hinged trays.
What bugged me
- Ink dries quite fast, which makes blending hard.
- Few pastel or macaron shades because the palette leans toward deep colors.
